1. Data controller

2. What data we collect
We collect: account data (username, email address, password hash); game data you enter (results, scores, player names, notes, ratings); friend connections and guest email addresses; usage telemetry via Microsoft Azure Application Insights (page views, errors, performance metrics — no advertising profiling); payment data processed by Stripe (we receive only a transaction reference, not your card details); and email correspondence you send us.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Account data: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Game data: contract performance. Telemetry: legitimate interest in improving the Service (Art. 6(1)(f)). Payment processing: contract performance. Email: legitimate interest in responding to inquiries.
4. Third-party processors
Microsoft Azure / Application Insights (EU hosting and telemetry) · SendGrid (transactional email) · Stripe (payment processing). All processors are bound by data processing agreements.
5. International transfers
Our processors may transfer data outside the EEA. Such transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards under GDPR Chapter V.
6. Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request. Telemetry data is retained for 90 days. Payment records are retained as required by Dutch tax law (7 years).
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data (right to be forgotten); receive your data in a portable format; object to processing based on legitimate interest; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, email support@skorio.app. We respond within one month.
8. Children
Skorio is available to all ages. Under Dutch law (UAVG Article 16), users under 16 require verifiable parental or guardian consent to register. If you believe a child under 16 has registered without consent, contact us at support@skorio.app and we will delete the account promptly. 9. Cookies
We use one preference cookie to remember your language choice. See our Cookie Notice for details.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please notify us immediately of any suspected breach.
11. Changes
Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance.
12. Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data-protection authority: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
